Departments that want to hire an outside vendor to create their web pages can do so. The department will still need to get a unix account for storing. Most of the external companies create the pages and deliver a disk to you to place in the appropriate location. Prices range from $50/hour up to a couple of thousand dollars. This will depend on the number of pages needed, images to be scanned and total web effort.
